AVIF support

AVIF image support would be cool as this format is supported now by many Browsers(Chrome, Firefox) and should have no patent issues.

+1 for adding this format or an include library or dll.

I may be wrong but I think this is available as open source code.

I have had a few schools requesting the ability to open this new image format. It has rapidly become common among book sellers displaying cover images online.

I'd like to see this added as a plugin as well please.

A lot more pictures are being released in that format and it is tiring to constantly convert them, thanks in advance:)
