I may give it a try, am just hesitant to install yet another huge package on my system, perhaps later.

Thats why i like to install a cheap windows version into a virtual machine and do all these things inside an isolated seperate environment.
A great way to try out and install tons of stuff without polluting my work machine.

DaVinci Resolve, big software but the free edition is great.
