Trouble starting PureBasic

Hi,

I have a weird problem. I had PureBasic running without any problem on my laptop, as well as on a PC.

Now all of a sudden, PB won't start anymore on the laptop.When I launch it, I see the main window opening and the console window saying
"Loadig external libraries..."

After that, nothing happens. I can close the console window and type in the PB window, load programs etc. But once I try to run them, nothing happens...

Any idea what this can be?

What version do you have? What are the userlibs you installed? What editor do you use?

It's the standard version, nothing else insalled. Version 3.90

If it worked, and now suddenly doesn't work.. did you check what you did in the meantime..
Perhaps do a virus check too??! (new Sasser virus is out)

Try using the Smartupdater tool to refresh your installation.

You will have to be connected to the internet for it to work.

that's what too much use of the force does to you...

(if you aint got any user libs installed, something's definitely wrong, you might wanna try a reinstall AFTER a check on virusses etc.)

Thanks for the input! Am now running a full sysytem check on the laptop with Norton, so will try install afetr it finishes.

I already used the smart update tool to get the latest build.
