Why adding some freeware tools to the package? To make it available to every user, otherwise, if the new user don't came to the forums (maybe some never come here) and browse a lot, they may not discover that there are some tools FREE and very usefull ones!

Paul's and Edwin tools are great, but cannot be included since has additional fees.

El_Choni's Tailbite, why should it be in the official package?? Let him work on it in his own way...

Ofcourse, i just suggest to add the file, not to give directions to him.

Maybe Fred has other idea's about writing the PureBasic IDE, and what it will become in future versions?

Did you notice how many users complained about the last update, because a .res file from a freeware package made it impossible to run 3.90 ?
That's one reason why freeware tools can't be included...

Lets stop here the discussion, just want to give my point of view or maybe my hormones point of view My personal and hormonal feeling is that there is no room for JaPBe because other reasons, but its okay for me, don't want to discuss it anymore.

As a new PB user, browsing the sites, searching the forums, reading other folks experiences and code is all a part of learning to use and understand the language. I've found that generally, if a user doesn't bother to do these things they are not really interested or sincere in using the software.

As for adding other projects. I remember the old Turbo Pascal which went through something similar. Before you knew it, the system was huge and often difficult for people to learn/use. Eventually, it became the Delphi system and look at that monster. I won't even mention what adding OO on top of the existing system was like.

I personally do not like JaPBe and have never used it past a trial. I think Berikco said it best with:

Nearly all features in jaPBe are optional. It is possible to cut down the editor to a simple notepad with compiler-feature.

Agreed. If the original poster loves japbe, then he should just use it and be
happy. I prefer the existing PureBasic editor too, and don't want someone
else trying to get it replaced.
