After a reported bug that is flagged [DONE] and Fixed, is the current version updated so the PureBasic download includes the fix within a few days?
Or would it not be available for a month or so or even until the next major update?

I do have to say that PureBasic is probably one of the very best supported languages. With constant updates and quite brilliant online support from Fantaisie Software as well as from many users, including the elite guys, all willingly help myself and others who are temporarily confused. I cannot recommend it highly enough and often do. 
If it's falling over......just remember the computer is never wrong!
