Maybe it is time to move on Yake

Post by MisterDr »

http://yake.sourceforge.net

Interesting 3d Engine Uses OGRE for display, ODE for collisioning, LUA for scripting and OpenAL for sound.

It's promising.

a ten second visit makes it look like a form of wrapper... that could slow things down and increase overhead though it could make programming (for fred) easier... i dunno
( PB6.00 LTS Win11 x64 Asrock AB350 Pro4 Ryzen 5 3600 32GB GTX1060 6GB - upgrade incoming...)

10 seconds? It's neither a wrapper nor is it noticably slower. It provides abstractions in order to be able to provide a whole new set of features for different target platforms using one and the same code base (reflection, serialization, replication, ... complex stuff... yapp).

old thread... sorry for necro'ing... but traffic is low in this forum anyway.
