With PB5.46, PB5.62, PB5.70B1 on Xubuntu 18.04 x64:
If "Automatically hide the Panel" is activated in the IDE - "Preferences - ToolsPanel - Options", the tabs are displayed horizontally and truncated after opening the IDE and after each "Run" of a program.
With a new setting in Preferences - ToolsPanel - Options and "Apply" the tabs are correctly placed vertically again - until the next program-run.

I think It works here more or less. Using PB570b1, Ubuntu 16.04.
Just when i compile/run and during the moment the compilation progress window is shown I see the closed tab caption (like 'Procedures', vertical text) overdrawn with some horizontal white colored 'Pro' which disappears after compilation finished.

Yes, I meant Compiler/Run[F5] with "Run".
With Xubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 it seems to work well.
The problem is, the texts in the tabs are unreadable, at best to guess.
Maybe another change or bug in the current API and no PB problem?
