Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Apple compiler...

Post by boop64 »

Hello Fred, I was just currious if it would be possible to compile purebasic for the freebsd based OSX on Machintosh computer or if it would be possible for you to compile purebasic to run on Linux for the Mac.

Again this is just a wish I have been coding with purebasic for about 2 years now and i just got a new laptop and would like to use pb on it as well .

Thanks, Boop64

Hmm, been coding in PB for 2 years but never used the forums? Use the search function on the forums, it is mentioned in several places by several members, as well as one time by fred that there will be an OSX version coming out :) (in a round-about way).

HTH.

Search for your self

Well sir, if you had done any searching of your own you would see that I used the forums more before they switched to the myforums.net servers.

Nope, more like the following:

Well Shannara... I did a quick search of the topics you were part of and it seems you ask more questions than you seem to help with, unlike some I like to do things for my self and don't apprciate flamers like you attacking others just to make your post total higher, why don't you try contributing more than bs that way more people would use the forums and make this a better place for learning more about purebasic. As for the non forum usage post you made I do use the forums and I seldom need to post or ask question becuase I have either found the answer or came up with my own. Now why don't you crawl back into your hole and stop flaming people that have questions.

Relax guys...

Boop64:
Fred is working on a compiler for the Mac, but if it will work under FreeBSD or Linux for Mac, I don't know... And how far it has come in the development stage, no-one knows either...
So, I guess only time (or Fred) will tell... ;)

I agree, I seem to find myself responding more and more to flamers, as evident in this thread. So I'll ignore you ;)

LarsG:

I'm hoping on a soon release (5.x?) for OSX support.. there's a whole market there untapped..
