About 8 months ago I made a computer for my Mum - I dragged her into
the 21st century kicking and screaming!
Anyhow, I showed her that she could buy things on the internet - for
instance thru Amazon...
To cut a long story short, I think she has gone slightly crazy - but
she says she has no problem!
I have photographic evidence to prove it...

Is my mum buying too many books?

Well, if that really was a question... The answer is yes! But i think it's difficuilt to act.. Because she IS adult. And she has to know what to do herself. If she's short on cash because of these books she'll have to find out.
I think you can't do much. At least try to make her read all the books she bought so far before she's gonna buy new ones. Good luck

make her go sit in a corner and read a book at a time
until she NEEDs a book to read.
maybe she wants to start a library for the underpriviledged?
she can hide some books at my place!
er... they aren't "romance novels" are they?
