Looking to purchase your PB project

Post by pthien »

I'm interested in purchasing your PB-developed project. If you have developed a product that you think has market potential, please contact me (phil@cgallery.com) and tell me a little about it.

Hi Phil,

That sounds great.

Do you have any special areas of interest? (So that people here can sharpen their pencils and start addressing it)?

PS:
Are you looking for stuff you can bundle into a hardware package? Games, utilities, etc?

I guess my area of interest would be utilities/diagnostic software, but I'm open to anything except (probably) games, which hold no personal interest for me.

Thanks for the encouragement. BTW, if someone just wants a cash partner in their software venture, I'm open to that, as well.

are you looking for completed apps or near compleated or just ideas?

how much are you looking to spend?
will you offer royalties?

i have a program that is about 90% complete you just need to input the data the program works great. was thinking of rewriting it to use DLL instead of encrypted text files for data

send me an e-mail if you want to try it out

I was hoping for something that was nearly completed and sitting on someone's HDD, perhaps they gave up interest or something. I'm not expecting the next Lotus 1-2-3 or Norton product. That's about all I can tell ya.

In terms of how much I'll pay and royalties, that all truly depends on the project, how far along it is, and what the person selling wants to negotiate.

BTW, what I'm hoping for now is E-Mails along the line of "I have written a small word processor that appeals to people that are sight-challeneged because..." or "I have developed a small utility which backups E-Mail data files to..." That way I can at least tell you if I'm interested. Not if the idea has merit, but if it is something I could become passionate about.

Thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil.

Im working in a program for composing music using AI and trial & error.
Is far from being completed, but the goals and outlines are detailed and organized, and parts of the program are working well.

Im a professional composer/musician, born in Argentina and living and working in Spain.
I love programming, and I feel programming is very close to compose music.

Is this the kind of project that you can be interested on?

Best regards

Well, I'm afraid music isn't one of my strengths. I don't know that I'd be able to support or enhance such a project. Sorry.

Phil:
Thanks anyway.
Is interesting to know PB projects in development, so I encourage other coders to put on this thread more proposals.
Best regards

What do you think about a video codec.
Its tomething like a Rad Video Tools
Originaly desugned for DarkBasic programming language but
it 100% may work with any other language.

The demo is done 1.3 mb

Its like a Codec programm wich is converting AVI into my format
and a DLL player
