Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

PB support for Arduino and Raspberry Pi

Post by IdeasVacuum »

Both of these PCBs have a massive following by professionals and hobbyists alike. It would be a dream come true to have PB built-in support for these - Python scripts and similar ways to interface the boards are currently used by many - having all that PB can offer would be a revolution, certain to bring in new customers Fred!

I've even made PB compiler running on 86duino and linking some external libs.

As you can see, there have been plenty similar ideas, but there's so much to do with PB and SB that I doubt such considerations are to be taken plausible in any foreseeable time. In addition, programming for Arduino is really fairly simple (for simple things which can be done).

BTW, I haven't tried it, but you might consider this: https://eltechs.com/product/exagear-des ... nd-prices/

Yeah, I was thinking of the potential. Both companies are shipping a lot of product per year, at least a million between them, excluding what sounds like a lot of 3rd party copies in the case of Arduino. So that's a marketplace of 5-10 million, even a tiny percentage of which I'm sure would help to pay for Fred's fries :)
