as far as what MS is doing..
..yes the new versions are pushed back.
..I read recently they are trying to plug
all of the security leaks in current OSes
before releasing anything new.
..apparently they've been flooded with
threats of lawsuits from major
corporations which say they will
also NOT purchase any new versions
until current versions are made secure.

BTW, how is the basejumping going? (Is that the correct term for your majorly adrenalin rush hobby?)

I only made that one B.A.S.E. jump.
I may do it again this year if I can get away from work.

Jumping from airplanes is wild enough :o - Jumping from bridges and other objects that are too high and not high enough seems slightly insane. 8O
