Looking for a PowerBasic to PureBasic converter

Post by chrisc »

Hi all

I wish to convert my PowerBasic programs to PureBasic, and I need a converter software to help
me to do this. I'm willing to purchase this converter software as I have many programs
to convert.

Please advise & thanks

There are no converters.

Both PowerBASIC and PureBasic are uniquely different and the differences are huge.

You are much better to start PureBasic with a clean slate and
create a program that does exactly what your PowerBASIC did.

What took 2000 lines in PowerBASIC might only take a few lines in PureBasic. :)

There's a ton of examples available on this forum and at: http://www.rsbasic.de/backups/

I'm a newbie to PureBasic, I wish to know what are the application names for generating
forms and dialogs for PureBasic. I heard of PureVision and are there alternatives
to PureVision that you can recommend

thanks

Purebasic has a Built-In form builder it is called Form, you can find info in the help file under Built-In Tools in the IDE section.
PureBasic! Purely the best 8)
