if we search purebasic.com in Archive.org and then choosing a year and then click on Download, then download the PureBasic-Demo.zip we will see versions from 5.42 , 5.31, and older. but there is no 5.43 demo. of course the Legal user can download all previous full versions from his account in the archive section and i have all the older full versions.
but why the demos is needed ? the answer is because we may need to post a code for other forums and then we suggest for the other forum users to try the ideas and the code themselves and to change its parameters and then try again.
you say okay there is 5.50 demo, i say but as an example from many examples look http://purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.p ... 9&start=30
we need to write:
Prototype.i glGetUniformLocation(Program.i, name.p-ascii)
and *TxtPointer = Ascii(Vertex)
and *TxtPointer = Ascii(Fragment)
and these additions will confuse the forum people who want strictly translation from C to PureBasic
so a demo for the future 5.44 is favorable, and within 4 months it can be deleted from purebasic site since it will be archived by archive.org unless they instructed to not archive purebasic site .
