Compiler Not Loaded Message

Just installed PB 5.50 and went to compile a program ... got a message box stating that 'The compiler is not loaded yet ...'. Have checked several source files, same thing. This is only happening with the 5.50 release on my Windows 7 system.

Am I shooting myself in the foot somehow?

Shutdown (real, not any of idle state) your PC and reboot.

If this not help, make sure to put pbcompiler.exe to exclude in your antivirus.

Shutting it completely down and restarting seems to have fixed the issue. Haven't ever had this problem before but who knows what evil they've installed on this work computer?

I had to log off my PC (not restart) to get the compiler to work recently.

Note: You should try the "Compiler -> Restart Compiler" menu item first.
