How to go back to Windows 7 or 8 after unwanted Windows 10

Post by IdeasVacuum »

This could be useful, it's now possible to consent to a Win10 download by accident.......

More info on the modified pop-up: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36367221
Microsoft said: "With the free Windows 10 upgrade offer ending on 29 July, we want to help people upgrade to the best version of Windows.

"As we shared in October, Windows 10 will be offered as a 'recommended' update for Windows 7 and 8.1 customers whose Windows Update settings are configured to accept 'recommended' updates.

"Customers can choose to accept or decline the Windows 10 upgrade."
Edit: The Microsoft pop-up that pushes people to upgrade to Windows 10 violates the company's own guidelines on Windows app design: http://www.techrepublic.com/article/win ... d=35458451

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Yes, perform all the updates manually.
Else you probably will need to use some pirated windows distributive to restore Win7 ^^ (btw I think it is justified to do this with microsoft, why should pay to a such the brazen company, doing much crap with your PC? If that company can act meanly, I can too)
But well, it seem that no all came so far and it is still possible to reinstall Win7 normally

For Win7 users...

There has just been a big (final) update for Win7 released.
(yeah this month Aug 2016)
Yeah I know, but keep in mind ... Leonardo da Vinci was also an autodidact.

Microsoft wants every user of Windows to run Windows 10 and forget every other previous version. This fury makes me think that something "bad" is going on. They were not so pressing in the past for other versions. I formatted my laptop and did a clean install of win 10. It is full of problems. No drivers for devices, crashes and much more.
