PB beta 2 86\64 and Avast

Post by Zebuddi123 »

Hi to all

Has anyone been having these issues with Avast and beta 2 86\64. As I`ve checked with VTotal, HerdProtect, MBytes, Sspyware and everything I could think of I`m pretty sure my system and PB b2 is clean. Even the main project I`ve been working on and using for the last year (weight training/nutritional) is quarantined on first run compiled in beta 2.

Here`s some screen shots.

Zebuddi. :)

I have a dream of a world without antivirus software. How would you distribute a virus nowadays? You put it in some antivirus update, so all antivirus users think their PCs are safe, but in fact they are infected. Also the war between these antivirus software providers is strange and leads to such questionable alerts. Antivirus software nowadays is only useful to slow down file access :P and letting others use your system.
bye,

Hi DarkDragon True in what do we trust :( With the amount of popups Avast throws at me to buy there product and always triggered by the same web site visits I`m beginning to believe its more of a marketing ploy.

Just been playing Tupair infuriating and addictive and i hate games. I`ll give you my verdict tomorrow if i can get of my phone lol

Never mind your PC, Avast can mess-up your modem! Study all Settings/Options very carefully.

Thank you for this, but Tupiar is still missing some casino like addictive feature. Most of the apps have notifications or some kind of highscore. I don't have such things, yet.

Hi DarkDragon I do like the game addictive. It reminds me of Atari tempest Arcade game simple graphics but great fun, that and William and Watson Defender were my games. Far far away in the distant past :)

Avast and AVG? Both have horrid signatures and AVG is only known for bad installers and drivers. Avast once tried to brand Gmer as it's own anti-rootkit and didn't have the programming talent to support it past a first beta..

EDIT: I cut most of this post off criticizing anything around the security industry is a lost cause unless you have fame or wealth..
