Console in Windows or Linux

I am reading the help to get started in PB. I have the most current version. When reading about the console and using enable graphics, there was a mention about this only works in Windows. I have seen other references to Windows in the help system. I thought everything worked in all supported O/Ss except those routines that are specific to an O/S, such as "Active Directory" in Windows. Hope I got the name right, I use Linux. By the way the doc re: console is confusing. Documentation should never be confusing. I believe the doc when referring to "graphics" means character graphics: CUI vs. GUI.
