Need pure basic programmers for debugging

Post by akashrajpal »

Hello. I represent a startup.
I've a source code of an application made with purebasic.
I require some changes in UI with minor tweaks.
Can someone be willing to offer their purebasic programing skills for the same for a fee or goodwill?
Please connect ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

So you did not write the source-code yourself, you're using someone else's code and you want it changed, most likely just to earn some easy bucks without giving credits to the original author?

Nope, not going to help you.

@JC yours is a very stupid post

For what you know, the author could have given every right to that code to the original poster not being interested in maintaining it.
The author could have been employed by the original poster and left.
The author could be any of the above and dead.
And many more scenarios are possible.

You may be also right, but you have no idea.
In short, a very stupid post not knowing anything about it.
Just don't help him and keep your silly conjectures to yourself.

I like logic my ass.

akashrajpal, if the source code isn't copyrighted, post a sample of the code where the UI needs to change and some of the better coders here can probably give some help right away.

If it is copyrighted, maybe the name of the source code program or author might give some coders an idea if they can help immediately or not.

Just an idea.

Yeah, but I've had this happen to me before!
Somebody took the source code I posted on the forum, changed it, sold it and wrote "we are the creators, we know what we are doing"

Hence why I am critical to a user with 1 post who wants help with code that is not his and who do not know how to code properly (or else he would not have needed help).
