You're missing the point. It's for people who choose to participate
and who are purposely NOT using personal info with it. It's fine.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

a psychologist, a fortune teller, and a numerologist told microsoft they will not sell too much copies if the windows number is 9, but they will sell more if it is windows 10, since the number of hands fingers is 10, most countries issue coins and bills with a denomination of 10, ten is the first two-digit number in decimal, all of this and more affect the human decision to buy or not to buy windows 10 , most people don't use Strict , they use a fuzzy and smeared ideas and opinions which can be affected and directed by tiny things.

Especially towards the Mac.
But it looks like most are standing pat. Image

It looks like more than a few Vista 10 adopters are ex Vista 8 victims.
And it looks like a "significant" number of gamers are using Windows98SE on the web!
Probably virtual machines.
At this time my personal usage is approximately 60% WinXP, 35% Ubuntu, 5% Win7.
But who knows?
I may need to break out my old Win98 SE box so I can access my old CD jewel box artwork in Roxio format.

why are they using Win98 instead of say XP? (im not a gamer if you cant tell!)

anyway it's interesting to see the stat that 1 in 8 people are using Linux or OSX, that works out to quite a lot of people that Windows-only developers can't market towards but that us Purebasic coders can, nice! :D

There are certain games that don't run in XP or DOSBox, and will run in Win98.
One that I want to check out the next time I boot 98 is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-10_Cuba!

Win version:

Do you think that this site is really serious and provides files without Backdoors?
And what about the Copyright? Even on an old game from the late 90s there should be copyright. Or not?
[Dynamic-Dialogs] - create complex GUIs the easy way
[DeFlicker] - easily deflicker your resizeable Windows
[WinFX] - Window Effects (incl. 'click-through' Window)

Yes, however if you are that worried, here is an impeccable source. https://archive.org/details/A-10_Cuba_1996_Activision
And I just tracked down the rare 1.2 patch. http://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/156 ... 0/download

This particular publisher is defunct, so this is a moot issue.
But even if it wasn't out of business, in the USA only the file hosting organization, or a corporate entity that uses the IP without license would be liable for any damages to the rights holder.
Based on my understanding of the law as it applies to US citizens, individual non-corporate entities who are not under contract with the rights holder violate no applicable law by downloading and running the software.
So in the US unless the computer is owned by a corporation, relax.
In Germany, I don't know.

But I do know that when Microsoft rats you out to the German authorities for your possible underage porn collection that was uploaded over one of Vista 10's Windows Explorer six (6) constant encrypted connections to Microsoft's servers, then you are on your own.
