PureBasic with 3D API's

Post by Pantheon »

Hi.

can any one explain to me the buisness with OGRE?
from what i belive, its an inbuilt 3dEngine integrated into PureBasic. So does this mean that you can only code 3d with OGRE or can you include DirectX and OpenGL strait without having to write a DLL in C++ or anything?

hope you can understand my question. thanks.

You can use directx or opengl directly in pb. But if you do this, you will not be able to use the graphics functions of purebasic, and you will need to initialize the screen with the dx/opengl functions.
