unfortunately it has pop-up-adds, :( i don't mind paying up to $10 a month if it has no pop-ups. :)

Hi Jack,
I'm very happy with my account on Totalchoicehostinghttp://www.totalchoicehosting.com.
For 44 US$ per year you get 300 MB storage space, 5.5 GB Bandwidth, PHP, MySQL and a lot more. Reliable and good service.
I chose this host after checking out the information and reviews on http://findmyhosting.com

why is there such a wide range in registration fees?
is there an official domain registration site? or does it matter? :?

You might want to check out http://www.iexpresshost.com for hosting. I use http://www.godaddy.com for domain name registration starting at $4.95 for a .biz name.

The same goes for me... I'll use GoDaddy for all my registrations and are very pleased - and I like that you get 100 free mailforwarding with every domain.
