FontMap Gen
Hey everyone, just thought I would announce my latest creation. It is used for creating bitmapped fonts which are quite often used in 2D/3D graphics applications and there are other applications for them. It is currently in a beta like phase but it is more than usable in it's current state. I will be adding features and taking comments/suggestions/bug reports on irc or by email.

Don't mind the lack of design for the page, recently had a hard drive crash and lost some data. Forums and a more professional website will be back up soon.

Very nice!
I wonder what does the "high quality" checkbox, apparently nothing happens!
I was going to suggest an "auto generate" but it should be there in the next release, looking at the screenshot.
What about considering proportional fonts?
I mean, creating a "table" wich contains each character width (pb DATA statements?), along the bitmap.
I did something similar with Amiga Blitz 2 about... well... 14 years ago...
Oh my god! So I am so old???
Anyway... the next interface looks so good! Congratulations! Is it under linux, isn't it? First time I see a PB application outside windows...

Actually thats a windows version running, I just have XP styles on. I would like to get a linux version out there, but I haven't had the time to install linux under VMWare yet. This weekend maybe. The next version will be good and I have noted to myself about your idea, I will definitly add something like that in the future. The next version will maybe be out tomorrow night or saturday. Tomorrow I have a BIG interview and if it goes well I will be celebrating the night away, and friday night I will be partying and stuff. =)
