Topic reply notifications

Post by chi »

Lately I don't receive a notification about topic replies or private messages by email. In fact, the last one I received was March 12th. My forum settings are still valid and I also checked the junk folder.
Anyone else with the same problem?

cheers, chi

Hi chi. Have you always received email notifications regardless of your forum activity? I receive at most two or three email notifications only following a post to the forum; otherwise nothing.

I remember reading somewhere that this is how the forum's notification system works. Is this not correct?

Hi TI-994A,
Have you always received email notifications regardless of your forum activity?
Hmm, good question! I don't know ^^. Let's test it... Please reply once again and I'm not going to login for the next 48 hours. Thank you :)

It's me again... 3 days without a login and still no notification about your reply, 2 replies from a different thread and a new private message. I just don't get it (literally)

Hi chi. That's pretty strange. Could it be that your mail provider is blacklisting PureBasic's Gmail address for some reason?

Woohoo, it's working again! I changed the email address to something different than gmx...

Thanks, to all of you, for your time

@TI-994A: Must be something like this. But on gmx there was no sign from those notifications at all.

Glad to hear it. :D

Some mail providers simply delete junk/spam mail without them ever reaching your inbox, or even your junk/spam folders.
