AGK2, please advice
Please advise me. I need some Basic similar PureBasic for Android applications. I found only AGK2.
It looks like PureBasic. (Although PB is obviously better, but not compile for Android.)
For my taste, but the website looks a little strange. Does anyone have any experience?
I do not know whether to pay € 99 for this product and try it.
http://www.appgamekit.com/
http://www.appgamekit.com/documentation ... /Index.htm
+ € 25 Model-2-Sprite
http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2302
I think it works like *apk without AGK Player.

It seems it's OK to use, but to be honest TGC's tools are mostly toys, considering you have quite some coding skill, but the software are limited, and you have to compete with tons of apps on the market.
If you really have intention, I suggest you bite the bullet and try HAXE or Monkey if you want to make native things, furthermore, if you are skilled at web technologies, HTML5 is the best thing to use as it has many cross-platfor wrappers.
As a side note, Windows is actually taking back to market share silently, especially the coming Win10, if you really want to make something cool, targeting Win32/64 may be a possible choice, make a cool thing is better than make many infamous apps.

You can also take a look at this Android Studio for Windows, have not used it yet so I am not sure how easy the code is to program.

As a long time supporter of the gamecreators they informed me in a mail yesterday that there's 40 % off the price of the AGK2 until dec. 31th. Re: AGK2, please advice
OK, so I paid exactly 157.51 USD. (This is on the Czech situation a little expensive
)
It contains:
AGK2 Winter Deal + pack Model-2-sprite & Sprite Me + TGC Bumper Winter Deal + VAT + shipping
Now I'm waiting for approval, we'll see. If I have some experience, so I will share.
Thanks again for all the feedback!

That looks about right, 59 + 29 + 29 + about 15 for postage + VAT in USD.zxretrosoft wrote:OK, so I paid exactly 157.51 USD. (This is on the Czech situation a little expensive)
Out of interest 3500 Czech Koruna can buy 29 Combo Meals at McDonalds or 116 bottles of Domestic Beer (0.5 liter draught), in Australia 220 AUD will get 33 Combo Meals at McDonalds or 134 bottles of Domestic Beer (0.5 liter draught), not too much difference but it looks like us Alco's over here get more beer.
I got the TGC Bumper Winter Deal a while back and am very happy with it, a lot of graphical goodies to download and play with have fun.

The essential thing is how much a person earns in Australia. For us here, it is approximately 5-7 times less
Imagine that you paid for this product 1000 AUD. That is the amount for me

Same here, I am self employed and actually only earn about 3000 USD, less than 1/3 of what the lowest paid welfare recipient receives. Not all things are equal in the land of milk and honey, but I can just get by, I am still happy and have not hit the streets yet.The essential thing is how much a person earns in Australia. To give you some perspective how stupid with money our leaders are here, they are spending about half a million dollars a year for each asylum seeker they lock up in overseas detention centers, just so the Prime Minister can say he stopped the boats.

Re: AGK2, please advice
3000 USD is VERY MUCH to me....
1000 USD is the average income per month in my country, (well not really, the common income is actually $800 per month).
Although each meal is basically less than $2 here and I usually spent less than $7 per day....

No, not a month I am talking 3000 a year, I can only dream of making 3000 a month, 1000 a month is about what someone on unemployment benefits gets here in Australia, pretty generous hey, perhaps I should swallow my pride and join the other 600,000 people on the dole Queue, and live it up a little.yoxola wrote:3000 USD is VERY MUCH to me....
