gmail trashing us?

A couple of days ago I stopped getting email notifications from these forums. I figured maybe my profile was changed by accident or something but all is well there. So I checked the spam folder for my gmail account and sure enough, there were all my forum emails. So I marked them 'Not Spam' and figured that would tell gmail to stop filtering my emails from alphasnd. Nope, they still go into spam. How can I get gmail to stop filtering these?

Just guessing but there might be some options to properly configure the filtering - I'm thinking of something like a whitelist.

Thanks for the tip, I was able to research how to whitelist in gmail and it should be solved. But it's a mystery as to why it started filtering forum messages all on its own.

Most likely too many people mark forum posts as spam rather than unsubscribing.

eMails from my work place started to get filtered into spam as well "no spam" didn't do anything. I found on some news group that adding the contact would help. So far it seems to work, but what a waste to do with with a no-reply notification address -_-

What I ended up doing was creating a filter for alphasnd *aht* gmail *daught* com and checking the option "Never send it to spam". Now they come to the inbox.

You are not alone, Gmail does this for a LOT of my legitimate email.

Same on Google Apps here, out of nowhere.

Simply whitelist it and you are done. It is true that GMail has certain percentage of false positive, but the amount of real spam blocked is fantastic.
