Natural gas can save lives.

Post by heartbone »

"A new study at the University of Exeter suggests that exposure to hydrogen sulfide — a.k.a. what your body produces as bacteria breaks down food, causing gas — could prevent mitochondria damage."

Man, who comes up with the ideas for these studies?
Of course this just might be the inspirational motivation that leads someone to become an academic researcher.

By that reckoning, I should live to at least 250 years! :)

OI!! Leave my name out of it. I didn't mention srod's farts once, only his strange addiction to used sheep.

Oh oh, I've gone and let the sheep out of the bag!

i have read about a "Man dies in his sleep from breathing in his own farts" His diet had consisted primarily of beans and cabbage. it may be the lack of oxygen and the excess of hydrogen sulphide he produced.

Here are a couple of remedies for overfarters.

1) INTERNAL USES FOR COLLOIDAL SILVER
Optimum digestion
Place 5ml of colloidal silver, or as determined by titration, into a beverage of your choice accompanying your meal.
As the food is digested, the presence of colloidal silver will keep the food from putrefying in the digestive tract, while killing all germs ingested with the food.
There will be no flatulence with this method.

2) Generic Beano

Colloidal silver is a suspension of submicroscopic metallic silver particles in a colloidal base. Long-term use of silver preparations can lead to argyria, a condition in which silver salts deposit in the skin, eyes, and internal organs, and the skin turns ashen-gray. Many cases of argyria occurred during the pre-antibiotic era when silver was a common ingredient in nosedrops. When the cause became apparent, doctors stopped recommending their use, and reputable manufacturers stopped producing them.
Also evolution put hydrochloric acid in the stomach to kill bacteria instead of a silver ingot for some reason.

Urban legend
No it's not! That noxious cloud from electrochrisso's last curry bass killed all the grass here, uprooted the tress, stripped the paint from the chook shed and fried the mower's engine!!

Ahh, how wrong can you be??? Im in Melbourne and far, far in the outer suburbs, nowhere near Queensland or the Darling!!!

And, I had Chutney and eggs on Dorsogna Ham. Mind you, the chutney had a *little, teensy weensy* bit of sulphides.

Hmm, could it have been that monster Idle again?? You know those Kiwi sheep botherers and what they WOLF down?? (HEHEHEH).

Okay, I'd better find a deep place to hide now:)
