i have a suggestion for a subforum called something like "Users place", that the legal users (who have the password to download the commercial product) can have an own pages with their names as an example applepi, so i can refer by links to what i think important threads.
the reason is that usually the user posts can be thousands of not so important posts such as off topics posts. searching the forum are not sufficient. many of the times i am lost in the huge numbers of posts of the users and even by me.
the user usually post in the specific thread such as tips and trick, and he can refer to his specific post in his own tiny subsite by a link only. he can consult his own page, and the others can do the same.
when a user want to make such his own page for the first time he should provide his commercial password.
after that he login using his usual forum login pass. the own's page will not consume too much ink since it is only links to what the user think as important threads.

Isn't that what the forum's bookmarks feature does?

...or indeed your browser's bookmark/tag feature.

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Re: mini users pages inside the forum
the bookmarks are not available until i login. and i want to have access to my links on the fly
also i want to attach small picture and description to show what is that link for.
i want to know the other users links to their preferred own links so clicking on abc own page i can know his suggestion to his most important posts with may be a small description. and some tips .
regarding the browser bookmarks, for undecided reasons i have stopped to use it from long time ago , too many factors here, one example we can't write a description more than a few words for the link, also i use several browsers, ... .
usually i use a several big text files such as purebasic.txt, blitzmax.txt etc

But you said:

No different to logging into the forum for the first time and then
going to the forum's bookmarks page. What point am I missing?

Re: mini users pages inside the forum
i mean when he creates the page for the first time he needs his commercial pass.
but after that when he wants to Edit or to add links and info to that page he needs to login as a forum user
if he don't want to edit that page he can access it without login such as every one else can access his page with or without login
i refer that it is not only page for the links but a description .
but the page should not have "postReply" button since it is not a page for discussions.
i begins to think to use some bookmark utilities, haven't tried it before
