PureVision Registration

Post by wesleyb1 »

I've been using PureVision on my Windows 7 machine without any problems for about 1 year. I recently purchased a new Windows 8.1 computer, downloaded and installed PureVision. When I entered the registration key (using copy and paste) I got an error requesting that I contact sales@reelmedia.org. I did this and have not heard back from them. Both my W7 and W8.1 copies of the software are the same version number, so I don't know why the registration didn't work. Any advice? Is reelmedia still an ongoing concern? My previous experience contacting their customer support was surprisingly quick and that is why I am concerned. Thank you for any help.

I can confirm, that Paul (ReelMedia) is usually replying very fast to his costumers.

As the full-version key of PureVision is "bundled" to the system, you entered it first, you will need a new key after a system change. So this is regular practice here...

If you forward your original registration e-mail (or your complete address) and request a new key from Paul, you should get it very fast. Maybe he does a little break at the moment, is on vacations, etc...

Just a reminder (for any lurkers) that PureVision is an independent
product and NOT officially associated with PureBasic in any way.

So while we hope Paul gets back to you, please remember that
nobody here can actually help you with your purchase of it, or
are even legally/morally obligated to try to assist you with it.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

hi Wesley,
We received your email on Tuesday, July 22 and sent out a new key that same day. You may want to check your spam folder or email filters to make sure our email did not get junked. We received your second email today (Thursday, July 24) and once again responded right away.
Please make sure your email filters or your ISP is not blocking our emails.
Thanks.

I second Andre, I had to request a new code about a month ago and it was there the next day. :D
I suppose the only worry is, when support ceases for some reason or other, then there may become a problem.

Thumbs up to Paul though for keeping PureVision up to date and alive. :D

For over 10 years already! PureVision Version 2 has its 10 years jubilee in November 2014. :)
