For everything that's not in any way related to PureBasic. General chat etc...

Does PB put food on your table?

Post by J. Baker »

I was just wondering, how many of you here survive on programming with PB alone or as part-time?

Also, if you do make $$$ from software you made in PB, post your links if you want. Just curious on what you guys and gals have made with PB.

Yes, my company has been designing software for a few years now. All of our new software packages are designed using the PureVision/PureBasic combo and a few apps written in other languages have since been ported over.

A large majority is custom commercial software contracted privately by companies but some of it is available online. Everything listed here (except the font package) was written in PureBasic:

3 cheers for PureBasic !! :)

I was hoping to make some $$ on the side with games made in PB, but right after Christmas my artist ditched the team and I had to cancel all projects in the works. My artwork thrown in a game is not worthy of $$

Programming is just a vice for me. I'd like to earn some money with it. :)

YES.
I'm working on IBM iSeries (AS400) for several companies.
This solves Desing and Programming of the DataBase.

But user's interfaces, must be programmed in PC (windows at the moment), using ODBC.

I use PB and I charge €€€ for it.
