Im basically looking for desktop end user based Linux Distrobution. Since my apps/games are aimed towards that. I've seen Lindows, Lycoris, and Xamain (or however it's spelled). If its more or less a linux distro for desktop dummies, I want it.. heh.

Anyone know anything about "knoppix", or about a linux emulator?

Knoppix runs directly via CD, there is no need for an installation.
My preferred distros are Mandrake, Suse and Fedora.

If it can run and install to/from FAT32 filesystem then it might be usefull
After all, cant install PB onto a CD....

Knoppix - I'm assuming that once you boot from the CD it knows and can use the HD?
Anyhow downloading image now (slow!) and will see what happens.
