It was a great article.


The article touched on some great features of PureBasic.

I'll pick out three features that I think were important (out of many). The first was that you had the ability to prototype something quickly, allowing you to see something in action to motivate you onward.

Another is that many on this forum are among those that sampled BASIC in the past in some form and were looking for something with a similar ease of learning and yet held the power to do accomplish their more needful tasks.

A third feature would be the throw-away type of code you could write that was done simply for fun. Not just limited to serious work, you could also do something just for the enjoyment of it. Just look at the samples that abound on the forum, such as in the Pure-Punch code challenges. :)
