Any company using PureBasic?
Any company using PureBasic?
Hi.
Are there companies out there using PureBasic? I am looking for internships.
Maybe somebody could give a hint or say "no, there are no companies using PureBasic". ^^
Greetings,

There are some companies using PB (probably among other languages), but you will
have an incredibly hard time finding an internship (you may try and I wish you all the best,
but I'd give up before I'd even start looking).

There is a lot of company using PureBasic (including Microsoft !), but as Shield says, it would be hard to find an internship as it's not widespread.

...they most likely needed a no-nonsense development tool that they could safely use to code something useful - such as a Microsoft Windows 8 un-installer.

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Re: Any company using PureBasic?
Unfortunately, I don't know for what it is being used.
Re: Any company using PureBasic?
Ah well, you never know, they may come in with a mega mega $$$ offer to purchase the company!
(I know I know, this has been discussed before!)
Either that of course, or you'll wake up one morning with a horse's head in your bed and a note asking you to desist from creating excellent compilers!
Think I'd prefer the first option myself. Nothing like a horse's head in the bed to get the day off to a bad start!

Hey srod, I just noticed you have broken the 10,000 post mark, you are not far behind Fred.

Ah, but what % of those posts of mine contain some semblance of wisdom as opposed to the mindless drivel I normally spout? I blame Fangbeast because over 9000 of those posts are telling him to leave the sheep alone, but does he listen? Does he heckers like.electrochrisso wrote:Hey srod, I just noticed you have broken the 10,000 post mark, you are not far behind Fred.![]()
