During the time when the Euphoria was paid this idea allowed to accumulate and organize huge fund of user contribution.
Offered Fred, Team and the Community to consider creating an analogue.

Hi useful, and thanks for the link. Seems pretty cool; nice, clean BASIC syntax and cross-platform as well. And it's evolved into OpenEuphoria. Unfortunately, it's an interpreted language.

No contest to PureBasic. :D

Eu unlike PB is broadcast in C, but can be interpreted.
I spoke not about the Euphoria. About the idea of recruiting and systematization of user contribution.

Hello again. Yes, I got the gist of your post; but PureBasic is not open source. The only viable form of user contribution would be through requests and suggestions to the development team, as it is being done now. :)

Historically, the dollars were used to reduce the cost of registering or upgrading to new releases of Euphoria.

when the Eu was free, the flow of user contribution decreased significantly :D

I bought Euphoria back when it first came out. Somewhere I likely still have the printed manual. It was a great little language.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️
