I have one more reason to doubt the future SpiderBasic.
This zero marketing Fred'a and obsolete infrastructure.

Just go to the site or Unity 3D Corona SDK and compare with PB ...

Had to install FireFox26 to see something.

IE9 isn't the lastest version. It should work on the lastest version.

Talk sense. SpiderBasic will be 49 euros per major release version (approx. 1 to 2 years). Unity is $75 per month, Corona $49 per month. A large number of people who can't afford those prices will be SpiderBasic customers.

I just gave an example of modern dynamically developing environment / engines.

cocos2d generally free. But it's infrastructure and looks much more modern.

I care only in the context of the number of potential PB users that failed, and from this will eventually suffer and existing users (size of the community, libraries, open source)

With regard SpiderBasic.
How do I access the elements dom?

hope SpiderBasic will grou up soon,I think Fred could take a look at Construct2 (https://www.scirra.com/),it export javascript, and can produce native like app on most platform via some tech, so I believe SB can be crossplatform too. besides, SB is more flexible than those drag&drop tools to make games.

WTF? :o It's only 4 DAYS OLD! Let's give it a chance, eh?
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

It depends on your definition of OOP. JS does not support classes. However, it does support it inheritance through prototyping and it supports properties and methods.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️

Unitiy is a piece of shit in performance and use. PB has never done point and click app/game development. Why compare the two?

In my personal opinion, PureBasic language is the best I've used. The policy rate is completely accurate, anyone can buy spending very little. It is cross-platform and it provides very good sevice.

SpiderBasic is a good idea, I like (but need GadgetColor and ExamineDesktops ;-) )
I also think that taking seriously the Android platform is necessary because the number of devices grows every day.

As a user of Unity and PB that I am, I must say. They are completely different. Unity is almost a Blender, 3DMax or LightWave with scripts and compilable.
PB is much more versatile, a lot more economical, easier and lighter. Capable of create games, office applications, create domotic and robotic controls, practically everything you can imagine. And if all this is not enough. PureBasic has the best forums and the best users.
It is definitely my favorite.

Thanks Freed by an exceptional tool. :D

Also thank all those who made possible this is the best forum.

OK. If you do not games that?

Give me 10 applications which need SpiderBasic?

90% of mobile not native apps are copy sites.
Even then manage to slow down the reaction to pression, with large lists, scrolling, etc.
