i thought first that the publishers only encode a DRM on their ebooks. but now i know that some of them encode a watermark which have your personal data on the ebook you order ie the ebooks are digitally watermarked, no DRM. a specific publisher warn the customers previously that the ebook have a watermark . so if they find the ebook on the ebooks sites they can know that it is from you. and imagine how much you will pay to the publisher (may be millions) .
and i told myself why a specific publisher (not springer) wait about 10 hours before sending you the ebook link. some authors don't prefer the ebooks, since it will appear on the ebooks sites immediately.

10 hours is actually soooo slow, the company I contracted has a digital watermarking system which can batch encode watermarks in books like PDF EPUB and video like RMVB AVI in realtime with unique id and personal info.
BTW, I didn't read books (literally) for many years, and reading ebooks on tablets are horrible experience.

For me, it will be zero... because I don't share what I buy.
If someone shares what they bought, they can pay millions
