Linux API?

Post by Christian »

Hi!

Since yesterday I am also using PB under Linux and it works real good without any problems. :) But unfortunataly(right spelling? ) this 3.50 version doesn't have as many features as the windows-version. But hopefully this will change soon(at least I read somethinglike this). But here is my question:

I've read something about a Linux-API which should be the same like WinAPI for Windows, but just for Linux. Is there any documentation? Would be nice, if someone having a link could post this here.

Thank you!

regards
Christian

Rumors have it that both Windows and Linux versions of Purebasic will be released at the same time! And both will be 3.81 8)

Hopefully this year ;)

This would be great ... the windows 3.81 Beta is already in public. Perhaps we will have the linux version in a few days!? So we will see ... :)

To the API thing again: I've searched a bit in the board here and found a post saying that PureBasic just supports a so called 'malloc' and 'free'-function. Is it true?

Hi!

After a long search I found a GTK Reference. So perhaps somebody is interessted in it:

http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/gtk/
