I created a working directory. I save my *.pb files there and have Purebasic pointet to that directory under preferences. When I compile and run, where does is save the exe at? I can't seem to find it. I am running OS X Mavericks on MacBook Pro.....

Confused.....???
Re: Confused.....???
On Windows, it is saved in the temporary folder. Think of Compile/Run as a debug command, not necessarily a command to generate an exe file. Look down the menu a bit for Create Executable... for controlling the output directory.

Re: Confused.....???
If you have the compiler option checked - 'Create temporary executable in source directory' then compile & run builds a regular application package there that (for me) is named "PureBasic.0". The executable is inside, see 'Show Package Contents'. I'm still on Snow Leopard, but guess it will be the same.
Of course, when you do 'Create executable' it will name the package as you wish.
