Does the news media in your country report on the "Cracksmoking mayor of Toronto"? Just wondering how much of the world is laughing behind their hands at Canada. I guess it just never occurred to lawmakers that someone would get in that deep and still feel entitled to keep his job.

It's in the news here in the U.S. of course and corrupt politicians are everywhere. However what surprises us here the most is that there is no recall process by which voters can remove him from office.

Yeah, these rules were put in place a long time ago before anyone could see something like this coming. Bet they'll get around to some amendments after this though.
