I think it would increase the usefulness of the 3D gui system to not just have ShowGui adjust the transparency of the gui
I say this so that perhaps you can have semi transparent chat boxes at bottom of a game yet open a solid preference window.
So I believe it would be useful for each gadget3D to have a set get transparency.
but there a number of things I would like to see improved about the 3d gui system that are probably out of your hands being it is a library you are adding into the purebasic language.
like the ability to have minimize maximize and pin for windows not just close box. would be developers responsibility of the nature of what happens after a window is minimized(hidden) . they could iconize it or something. or recreate a windows like bar or a dock. what ever. same with what happens if you do pin on the window. does it make it so the game remembers to reopen it next relaunch, or does it make the window so it can’t be dragged or resized…. programmers choice of what to code for the pin window.
3DGUI separate transparencies per gadget
Re: 3DGUI separate transparencies per gadget
but yes I know, as far as the extra features of the windows. you could with work create your own window border and sprites for the various components of the window controls you would want. So any window could be created with extra programming.
So mainly I still just stick to the focus of the topic….
Would be useful to control transparencies of each winow3D() and gadget3d()
