Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Set User mode for Windows Vista by default

Post by Little John »

This is just a tiny suggestion.
On the German forum, freak (translation by me) wrote:"Compiler Options -> Request User mode for Windows Vista and above (no virtualisation)"

This option should be set by everyone who wants to write programs for Vista that behave reasonably [...].
So maybe this option should be set by default right after a fresh installation of PB?

The problem is, the programs from some "none Vista/7-Fit" XP-Programmers won't work anymore without virtualisation
It is better if the programmers who can also assess the results of this Flags, put this Flag by hand.
