if someone buys fred a ferrari and a mac there is an ever so slight chance...

(personally, first fix doubles, fixed length strings, and a few other things, then wait until *i* can afford a fat mac (not a big mac) *and* have some use for it and *then* is the right moment

i would like to see a mac version too BUT not at the expense of the quick development rate of the windows version.
