I'm simply saying I don't have to like it, and that's not how it should be.
If you truly want to learn, then you will take the uncommented code and add (accurate) comments...you will learn much more that way compared to just reading well-commented code.

That is a useless supposition at best. This is approaching the point of argument for the sake of it.

It's up to the code contributor whether or not they want to comment their code
we should just be thankful that people do contribute code to help others, it's their time and effort
after all.
