There is no directx on linux. There is just OpenGL. But if you mean WINE with native DirectX DLLs... it worked fine on OpenSuSe 10.3 with Day of Defeat: Source running through Steam.

Mhhh! There would be very good to have a 3D engine to be used with PB linux as a wrapper of DirectX... :?
