3d model wrap / unwrap / skinner

Post by blueznl »

hmm, with all the fancy software out there now this *should* exist, but i did not find it yet...

is there something *easy* :-) that does the following:

- load in a 3d model and / or edit one
- import photographs (not just face, the whole shebang)
- wrap it around the model, generating skin bitmaps on the way

one piece of software (addon for adobe atmosphere, called avetar lab, think same company as poser) allows you to use two photographs (side and front) then maps it on the model, with some small adjustments a very acceptable model results

any suggestions?
