I was shifting through that sample and it looks like your using non-blocking, is this correct?

blocking, non-blocking as well as windows async, all work :-)

why you ask if i may ask? :-)

Heh, because from the looks of it, it contains most of the IOCP needed for a real server supported winsock module :)
