Deactivate new 'x' close button on IDE tabs

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Deactivate new 'x' close button on IDE tabs

Post by einander »

Is possible to add a option to deactivate the new 'x' close button on the IDE tabs?
Frequently a tab is closed intending to select it.

This option already exists
Preferences -> Editor -> Display close buttons in each tab

For Linux, the new custom tabs are too narrow, the "X" is too small, and it's difficult to distinguish the selected panel.

It would be nice if the IDE panel reverted to native tabs. They are much easier to work with than the "improved" tabs.
