Enabled 3 letter word search on forums

Post by Fred »

Hi there,

Just a quick notice to let you know than you can now use 3 letter word for search on the forums. The previous limit was 4 letters, but it avoided to search for small words. It's now corrected !

Have fun,

I tried with GIF, it seems to work. That said, it should have some COM related topic for sure.

The advantage of a 64 bit operating system over a 32 bit operating system comes down to only being twice the headache.

Fred, you may want to refresh/rebuild the search index for the existing topics/posts.

Thanks FRED this is a good idea 8)
Another thing in this subject, is it possible to also search special character like underscore, *, etc... ?
And also a last thing, is it also possible to search a full and exacter sentence, like google search, delimited by double quote like this "ReleaseDC_(WindowID(0), *DC)" ??

we did it, but it doesn't seem to fix the "COM" issue.

I think, there is a exclusion list. When I'm searching for "and", there are no results. When I'm searching for the German "und", i get 358 results even in the English forum.

There is an exclusion list for all standard english word, but 'com' isn't in it. Strange.
