well, 2 days isn't that long to wait :-)

but it might be that nobody else had the same problem, did you try a reinstall?

i tried uninstall and reinstall again but nothing happened!
i'm sure that this happened after installing version 3.8 but why it can be fixed by reinstall i don't know!
by the way actually i don't care why this happened, i just to fix it so i can see the code in debug window again!:)

I don't think this has happened to anyone else. But, Maybe you should post in the Bug Forum, so other people that might have the same problem can see.

it might be something in windows...

1. remove everything (including stuff in the registry) that refered to pb
2. reboot and try to install again

do you run something like windows blinds or anything similar?
did you reinstall windows yet?

(i strongly advise to make regular snapshots of your configuration using ghost, so you can quickly go back to a known working setup)

Well, if it's not happening to us and it's not reproducible, then how
can we offer any help? ;)

Not that I use Purebasic that often, but this has happened to me when looking that the example code posted. So, it's not simply limited to the original poster. In fact, I have not known different with Purebasic.

I'm on a W2K SP3 machine.
