How do you deal with alt-tab etc ?

If you are running a game in either a window or fullscreen how do you allow for an alt-tab or anything else which takes focus away from your game ?

If I do this the mouse stays in the now invisible window and I cannot do anything, except ctrl-alt-del and use the task manager !

I think I saw something about capturing windows events to handle this, but cannot find it on the forum now !
